I got the amazing opportunity to do a full rebranding of the lovely Bobbi Jo Hemmen’s local CBD business here in Nashville TN, Hempcetera. From the packaging to the social media and website, we elevated the brand and broadened the target audience with a fresh new style. I started with a new funky logo and color palette that reflects Bobbi’s awesome personality. And an organic typographic solution that gives the brand a minimalistic, but still fun feel! From the cookies to the lotion, every package was reimagined. Following strict legal guidelines for CBD products, but not too scary lookin right? Giving the brand a more vibrant, minimalist style helps give a more welcoming feel to new customers.
The biggest aspect that we focused on for the website was adding a shop page! Opening a new source of income for Bobbi. The website had to include vital information about CBD as it is often stigmatized because of its relation to THC. So not only is it accessible, but more importantly, educational.
We kept the packaging cute and minimalistic. Focusing on the simplicity of the brand. And identifying a clear difference in animal and human products.

And of course the set up needed a new look too! Adding some environmental signage that is eye-catching and a 21+ sign, because often at markets families come to shop, and there needs to be a clear immediate indication that Bobbi sells products for adults! Sorry kiddos, no cookies today:(
A new social media style, feed and reels, that reflects the new brand look! Displaying both product packaging and product usage.
Often at markets, or just in a good brand, brochures are a great way to encourage customers to check out socials and get in the loop! This little brochure is informational and allows the customers to learn a little about Hempcetera.
This was a very big project and my first introduction to brand development. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to get some good client experience and work with the amazing Bobbi Hemmen!
